About Alan

Born in Louisiana, Alan graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Film & New Media. Since then, he has worked across a range of disciplines as a filmmaker, with projects spanning technical apparel, bikepacking documentaries, medical devices and orthopedic surgery, automotive test tracks, and fabric textiles—on location in Italy, Argentina, and Africa.

Since 2013, he has collaborated closely with couples to create more than 60 wedding films, after shadowing under stills photographer Ryan Manthey (Pure 7). He best incorporates the skills across these fields into his wedding filmmaking, applying the same adaptability to every event.

In 2015, Alan co-founded Huck Studio, a Nashville-based video production company specializing in commercial advertising.
